On May 23, the China Safety Industry Association issued a notice approving the release of the group standard of the "Technical Specification for Tower Crane Remanufacturing" (hereinafter referred to as the "Specification") jointly researched and compiled by Shanghai Pangyuan Machinery Leasing Co., LTD and Nanjing University of Technology, number T/CSIA017-2024, which has been officially implemented since June 1, 2024.

With the large-scale development of modern engineering projects in our country, the requirements of safety and environmental protection are increasingly strict, and green development has become an important trend in the construction machinery industry. In line with the concept of industry development standards first, with the green development of the whole life cycle of tower cranes in the field of construction machinery as the goal, on April 24, 2023, the China Safety Industry Association launched the preparation of the "Specification".

During the period, the members of the joint preparation team of Pangyuan Leasing followed the principles of safety and reasonable, advanced specifications, practical and operable, and after repeated research, analysis and discussion, soliciting opinions, modification and improvement and summary, they determined six group standard proposals including classification, disassembly, cleaning, repair assembly, parts identification inspection, and factory acceptance, and organically combined "new manufacturing" and "new service". Unified technical requirements and methods have formed a formal "Specification" to create a green scale of new quality productivity for industry development, and provide clear guidance and specifications for tower crane remanufacturing.

The release of the Code marks that China's tower crane remanufacturing industry has moved from the pilot stage to the stage of comprehensive standardized development of the industry.
